We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This page explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This is a technically accurate draft based on how the website actually works. Please have it checked by your lawyer or data protection adviser before going live, and send us your hosting provider and any analytics tools you use so we can complete the relevant sections.

What we collect
When you use our contact or booking form, we process the details you enter there — your name, your phone number or e-mail address, your rental dates, your scooter choice and anything you write in the message field. We use this data solely to answer your enquiry and to prepare your rental. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
Server log files
Our hosting provider automatically records technical access data: the page requested, the time of the request, the amount of data transferred, the browser type and version, the operating system and the referring URL. This data cannot be traced to a specific person by us and is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for the secure and stable operation of the website.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set any tracking or advertising cookies and does not use any analytics service. The only data stored in your browser is your language preference, which is kept locally so that the site opens in the language you chose last. No cookie banner is required because no consent-relevant cookies are used.
Fonts and external content
All fonts are hosted on our own server; no connection is made to Google Fonts. The map on our contact page is embedded from Google Maps and is only loaded when you open that page — in doing so, Google receives your IP address. If you would prefer to avoid this, use the plain address link instead of the map.
Our WhatsApp buttons are plain links. Nothing is transmitted until you tap one and send a message yourself. From that point, your communication is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy (WhatsApp Ireland Ltd.).
How long we keep your data
Enquiries that do not lead to a rental are deleted no later than six months after the last contact. Where a rental contract is concluded, the statutory commercial and tax retention periods apply.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your personal data, the right to object to processing and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, write to info@atom-scooterrent.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Croatia this is the Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP).
